Hitler did not promote any form of Catholicism or Christianity and it was forbidden in schools under the Nazi regime, the Reichskonkordat signed between the Vatican and the Nazi party in the late 30’s allowed the Church to teach Catholicism in Germany IF they supported the Nazi party, this was however before 1939 and the Nazi party broke the agreement, late France and Britain signed a treaty with Germany which the Vatican advised against due to their dealings with the Nazi party which resulted in a negative outcome, so the historical evidence that exists is quite opposite to what you’ve presented.
